This role will give you the opportunity to complete a variety of studies (organisation in space, modifica-tions etc.) related to electrical equipment.
|
The objective of your job will be to provide the end user with equipment that works well according to the specified requirements at en efficient cost and within the agreed deadlines. This equipment has to be in accordance with safety regulations, especially in terms of radiation protection and external hazards. It will be your responsibility to perform the related supporting studies and calculations (fire, seismic, flood, extreme climatic conditions...).
You will be responsible for the technical specification for the procurement of electrical equipment. You will participate in selecting suppliers and monitor the progress of contracts and the quality of services provided.
As such, you will :
- Suggest job processing strategies
- Capitalise on knowledge and expertise of engineering by formalising feedback
- Develop multidisciplinary skills as part of your support, technical and advisory activities.
You might participate in or be responsible for managing R&D projects.

What you'll need
- M.Eng, MSc, PhD in an engineering discipline (ideally with some nuclear-related content, however this is not essential)
- A disciplined and analytical approach, a critical mind and common sense
- Fluent English and basic French language skills (French tutoring will be provided) and strong willingness to improve
- A responsive attitude and the flexibility to work in different locations
- Team spirit and a commitment to building a successful career in an environment that offers stimulating technological challenges, working with experienced engineers
- Interest in a career that offers international mobility.

Salary and benefits
We offer a starting salary of €34,000 - €'45,000 (based on qualifications and experience), with individual contribution rewarded through an additional performance related bonus.
